The 18th Annual Academic Sessions of CORLHNS was held on the 18th and 19th of March 2023 with a great success. The pre-Congress workshop on tracheoplasty was held on the 18th of March 2023 (8.00am) at the Neurotrauma auditorium, NHSL as a live surgical demonstration . It was attended by the membership of the college and they were benefitted by the session immensely. The inauguration ceremony was held at Hotel Galadari, Colombo in the evening on the 18th of March 2023 followed by a networking session with a cocktail dinner. The main congress was held on the 19th of march 2023 at Hotel Galadari, Colombo 01. It was an academic feast with free-paper sessions, poster presentations, panel discussions and lecture demonstrations. A notable event was the award of Honorary Fellowships of the College of Otorhinolaryngologists and Head and Neck Surgeons of Sri Lanka to two recipients for their outstanding contribution to the field of ENT. Dr Malkanthi Jayasinghe and Dr R P Dayasena were felicitated as the recipients for the year 2023.
