Annual General Meeting 2026

College of Otorhinolaryngologists and Head & Neck Surgeons of Sri Lanka

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the College of Otorhinolaryngologists and Head & Neck Surgeons of Sri Lanka was successfully held on 29th March 2026 as a hybrid event, with active participation from members both physically and online.

During the AGM, the new Council for the term 2026–2028 was duly elected. Dr. Amal Fernando was appointed as the President, and Dr. D. D. Jayasekera as the President-Elect, marking the beginning of a new phase of leadership for the College.

In conjunction with the AGM, a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme on Chronic Cough was conducted. The session provided valuable insights into the latest approaches in diagnosis and management, contributing to the continuous professional development of the members.

The College extends its appreciation to all members who participated and contributed to the success of the event.
