The College of Otorhinolaryngologists and Head and Neck Surgeons has been conducting annual academic sessions focusing on different areas of speciality since its establishment in 2002.

The theme of the 18th annual academic sessions is “Inspire to Respire” focusing on surgical management and prevention of laryngotracheal stenosis. Most of the time, this problem is iatrogenic rather than congenital, occurring as a result of endotracheal tube cuff injuries which are becoming increasingly common due to the large number of patients requiring ventilator support.

18th Annual Academic Sessions of CORLHNS 2023

The 18th Annual Academic Sessions of CORLHNS will be held on the 18th and 19th of March 2023 under the topic of “INSPIRE TO RESPIRE”. The pre-Congress workshop on tracheoplasty will be held on the 18th of March 2023 (8.00 am) at the Neurotrauma auditorium, National Hospital of Sri Lanka. The inauguration ceremony will be held at Hotel Galadari, Colombo in the evening (Starting at 5.30 pm) on the 18th of March 2023.The main congress will be held on the 19th of march 2023 at Hotel Galadari, Colombo 01.
